SCENE-1
A long time ago, a king lived in ancient Greece. The name of that king was ‘Midas’. He was a very rich king. He had plenty of gold and everything he needed.
King Midas had a young daughter who was very sweet. He loved his daughter very much. The king did not allow his daughter to lack anything.
One day, a satyr named Silenus drunkenly set out in the rose garden of King Midas. The king believed that the satyr always brought good luck. So he lets Silenus take a rest in his Palace.
Silenus is a friend of Dionysus, the God of Wine and Celebration. He is very pleased to see such a reverential spirit of his friend Silenus by King Midas. He decides to reward the king.
When the king was asked his wish, He said that he should be given such power that whatever he touches will turn into gold. However, Dionysus did not find it a great idea but still fulfilled his wish. He was very happy to see that his wish had been fulfilled.
SCENE-2
The King Midas rushed to his garden for the first time; anything he touched would turn into gold. He first touched an apple and it turned into a golden-coloured shining apple. After that, he went on touching many flowers and every small or big thing. Now, he wants to turn everything into gold.
The king had never seen so much gold in his palace before this. He was very happy to see so much gold. He was so happy that he embraced his daughter in happiness. By the time he could understand something, his daughter had turned into a bezzled gold doll.
Midas could not understand what to do. Now he started realizing his mistake. The sad king immediately ran into the garden and started calling out to God Dionysus. He starts begging God to save his daughter. The king pleaded with Dionysus to regain his power.
Seeing all this, Dionysus told him a solution. So that her girl would be able to live again as before. King Midas did the same and got his daughter alive again as before. After this, the king never lured and spent the rest of his life very comfortably.
