The Ugly Tree | Moral Stories
This is an Ugly Tree story, a story that gives the message of how we should be satisfied. Whatever we have received by God, we should never complain.
A long time ago, there were many tall and beautiful trees in a dense forest. They were all very proud of themselves. But one of them was a very ugly-looking tree. Its branches were very crooked and moody.
All the trees used to laugh at that ugly tree. They used to make fun of him by calling him a hunchback. Listening to all of them, he always thought that why did God do this to him? Neither can he provide shade to anyone, nor birds can make a nest on him. Maybe he does not need anyone.
One day a group of woodcutters came into the forest. All those woodcutters looked at those beautiful trees and thought to cut them all and make something for their house.
As soon as they all raised their axe to cut down the trees, all the trees got scared. Chop! Chop! One by one, the axe of the woodcutter started cutting down the trees. Then a woodcutter came near that crooked tree. He had just picked up his axe when he realized that how crooked this tree is!
“This is a very ugly and crooked tree. I can’t even make a straight log.” The woodcutter said while looking at the tree.
After saying this, he moved towards a beautiful tree. The ugly tree breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the woodcutter go. He realized that by making him ugly, God had indeed saved him. From now on, the ugly tree has never complained about its ugliness. He was grateful to God and happy with his crooked branches.
